Who we are

Glinsman Weller was formed in 2008 by Paul Glinsman and Richard Weller who were always destined to work together. Both commenced their careers in the Central London office market in the late 1970’s and pursued independent although often intersecting paths at a variety of firms until finally taking the plunge and setting up the practice they and their clients wanted to see.

From the outset, both Directors were fully engaged in all projects and no client ever runs the risk of being farmed out to inexperienced, junior staff as can often be the case elsewhere. Our watch word is quality over quantity and we do not subscribe to the culture of taking on projects just to increase our standing in the league tables that encourage the opposite approach.

Paul retired as a full time Director at the end of 2023 to become a Consultant whilst Richard remains as committed as ever to providing a top class service to clients both old and new.

Richard Weller

Director

Experienced Office Agency and Lease Advisory specialist dealing with acquisitions, disposals, rent reviews and lease renewals/restructuring wherever clients want him. Recent undertakings range from achieving 100% occupancy in multi-let buildings in Mayfair, Marylebone and Holborn, freehold and long leasehold sales across Central London, acquisitions in locations as diverse as Battersea, Fitzrovia, Belgravia, Bow and Glasgow and settlement of rent reviews for tenants at well below the level quoted by the landlords producing savings of up to £2.7m plus. 

Recent and regular clients include Dorrington, O2 Daisy, Liberal Democrats, Ticketmaster, Policy Exchange, Live Nation, MONTE Global, Blood Cancer UK, Total Media, Boutique Workplace Co, DCC Pension Fund, Downing LLP, Delph Group, Think Publishing and Lincoln International.

In early 2024, Richard was appointed as a Consultant to Tuckerman, the well known niche agency based in Victoria, to enhance their capabilities in the occupier market.

Richard is an active participant in live theatre as performer and director, spent many happy years following KISS around the world and after over 50 years watching Crystal Palace is finding the last few months rather bewildering.

Paul Glinsman

Consultant

Office Agency, Investment & Development specialist, with over 40 years experience of the ever changing office market, primarily in Central London. During his long career, Paul has held key positions at a number of highly regarded practices and advised a wide range of clients including a leading serviced office provider, private property companies and a range of occupiers both large and small.

Alongside being a Consultant, Paul is actively involved as a carer for a well known charity. 

Tony Martin

Consultant

Anthony Martin is the Senior Partner at AJM Surveyors. In 1990, he qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor (RICS) and completed specialist training in Building Conservation leading to MBA with Distinction in 2005. A specialist in the field of dilapidations, he has received multiple appointments by litigants to provide expert evidence in a range of technical disputes and worked as part of a team of experts in more complex cases. 

Specialist training in dispute resolution started in 2014 (RICS Diploma in mediation), and he received the RICS Expert Witness Certificate in 2019 and was elected an individual member of EWI (Expert Witness Institute) in 2020 whilst also being a practicing member of The Academy of Experts.

Tony Oxford

Consultant

Tony is Managing Director at Chrysalis Building and Project Consultancy. He is PRINCE2 accredited and an RICS qualified Chartered Building Surveyor and Project Manager with over 25 years of experience in commercial and residential property throughout the UK and mainland Europe. 

Tony’s abundance of general management, technical skills and project management abilities provides strategic consultancy advice with workable solutions for clients. This not only ensures that projects are managed effectively but also creates value to the overall business.
